Admiral is the gold standard for Bracco Italiano. He has the physical structure, the intellectual prowess, and a great nature about him. He has won big since being in the US, and is the 2019 World Champion from Russia, Asia, and Europe.

Beatriche is from a very strong pedigree on both the hunting and show sides. She is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet.

Vanga, the half sister of Beatriche, also has a very strong pedigree. She has a very elegant and prideful stride and is very sweet as well. Vanga was a 2019 Junior world champion.

Looking for Bracco Italiano puppies for sale? At Canis Magnus Kennels, we are thrilled to introduce the Bracco Italiano as the newest addition to our exquisite dog breeds. We are proud to have secured some of the finest Bracco Italiano dogs, including Admiral, our distinguished older stud dog. Admiral has been awarded the best in his category at the World Dog competition in Asia and has achieved numerous recognitions across Europe, Asia, and Russia. We are incredibly excited to see what he will accomplish here in the US.

Admiral, along with Beatriche and Vanga, has come to us from the prestigious Grafskoe Gnezdoe kennels in Russia. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Irina for her invaluable assistance in getting these remarkable dogs safely to the US and for helping us acquire the best, sweetest, and most beautiful Braccos possible. Additionally, we welcomed Rudy, a new stud dog from North Dakota, who adds the stunning “chestnut” color to our breeding program.

The Rich History of the Bracco Italiano

The Bracco Italiano is an ancient breed, with a history spanning over 2,000 years. Although they only arrived in the US in the 1990s, they have experienced a resurgence after nearly facing extinction. Known for their exceptional noses and endurance, these bird dogs are also celebrated for their sweet personalities, extremely soft and supple coats, and strong family bonds.

According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), Bracco Italiano dogs are “affectionate, intelligent, and enthusiastic.” The AKC further describes them as “tough and adapted to all types of hunting. The Bracco Italiano is reliable, intelligent, docile, and easy to train. They have a powerful appearance, with lean limbs, well-developed muscles, and a sculpted head. In English, they are the Italian Pointing Dog.”
